The Holocaust Museum in Buenos Aires has obtained the fake passport Adolph Eichmann used to enter Argentina in 1950. The passport, issued by the International Committee of the Red Cross to Riccardo Klement, was discovered last month by a judge going through old files pertaining to the Nazi war criminal, Bloomberg News reported. The document was part of a 1960 petition by Eichmann s wife, Veronica, for a court to investigate her husband s disappearance. In the filing, she disclosed her husband s true identity. When she filed the petition, Veronica Eichmann did know her husband had been abducted by Mossad agents. This is the first document of a Nazi criminal that we have, said Graciela Jinich, executive director of the Buenos Aires Holocaust Museum, which received the passport from the judge in May. A facsimile of the passport will be on view at the museum starting Thursday.
