The Jewish Colonization Association negotiated with the Argentine Government recently regarding the new immigration regulations into the country. As a result of these negotiations the Ica has obtained the re-establishment of certain facilities to benefit the Jewish immigrants who will proceed to the Argentine under the auspices of the Ica.
When the Director of the Department of Immigration in the Argentine Republic was recently in Europe, the administration of the Ica had several interviews with him as a result of which the privileges in question were granted.
It has been arranged that immigrants recommended by the Ica will be admitted to the Argentine, whether they are agriculturists or qualified workmen. In order to avoid overcrowding in the capital the immigrants will not be settled in Buenos Aires and its environs but will be sent to the interior of the country.
