The incident which caused Dr. Stephen S. Wise to leave the Zionist Congress was commented upon at the Thursday night session of the Congress.

Rabbi Nurok of Riga who reported the resolutions of the political committee to the Congress, expressed regret that Dr. Wise left the Congress because of a misunderstanding. He praised Dr. Wise’s work as chairman of the political committee and expressed the unanimous thanks of the committee for his zeal. He voiced the hope of the committee members that they will have the opportunity of working under his leadership in the political committee at the next Zionist congress.
