The Iranian ambassador to the United Nations said his country would respect an Israeli-Palestinian peace accord if all Palestinians, including those outside the West Bank and Gaza Strip, participate in the decision-making process. Hadi Nejad Hosseinian made the comments in response to a question at a policy forum in Washington hosted by Middle East Insight magazine. In 1993, Middle East Insight hosted a similar forum with Hosseinian’s predecessor.
