The Israel Aliyah Center has reported a 24 percent increase in the number of North Americans emigrating to Israel in the first three months of the year, as compared to the same period last year. To date, a total of 471 olim have made aliya, Moshe Shechter, director of the Israel Aliyah Center said the increase was part of a continuing upswing.
