The Israel Football Association has appointed an internal inquiry committee to investigate the dismal failure of the national soccer team in its World Cup qualifying games against Australia and New Zealand. The Israeli team was trounced by Australia in its games in both Israel and in Australia, and by New Zealand in its Aukland match last month. The committee will start questioning officials, coach and probably players immediately after the return game against New Zealand in Israel on November 10. Its losses in this round has put Israel completely out of the running for the World Cup finals in Mexico next year.
