The Israel Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced that exports of Israeli metal products totaled $75 million in 1971 and have risen an average of 25 percent since 1965. By 1975, Israel expects to reach the $185 million mark in metal exports. Spurred by the overwhelming success and vast potential of the industry and the impressive results of the First Metal Industries Week, which took place in Tel Aviv in Nov. 1970, a Second Metal Industries Week has been scheduled in Tel Aviv from Dec. 4-8 and is sponsored by the Israeli authorities.
