The Israel Project is launching a campaign to educate Americans on the dangers of Iran’s nuclear program. In a statement the group said the campaign will include mass mailings, television advertisements and a Web page titled the Iran Press Kit. Pamphlets denouncing Iran’s anti-West attitudes and offering statistics on the country’s terrorist operations were mailed to some 17,000 members of the media and more than 40,000 pro-Israel leaders and activists, according to Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi, The Israel Project’s founder and president. The Iran Press Kit gives detailed information about Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s beliefs and politics, an in-depth look at Iranian human rights violations and information on international companies with ties to the region. For more information, see www.theisraelproject.org/iranpresskit. Beyond education, The Israel Project urges readers to support economic sanctions on Iran “before it is too late.”
