The Israeli Ambassador to France, Mordechai Gazit, met with Premier Raymond Barre for what both sides described as “a courtesy visit.” It was their first meeting since Barre became Premier last August. Among the topics believed to have been raised was the French government’s decision to cancel the application of its own anti-boycott law.
