The Israeli army reportedly plans to call up 10,000 reservists to help implement a planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. The decision was made during recent deliberations of Israel’s top military brass in light of logistical difficulties anticipated in evacuating settlers next year, especially if Palestinian terrorists escalate attacks in parallel, the Ha’aretz newspaper reported last Friday.
