The Israeli army will allow a draft resister to serve without wearing a uniform, swearing allegiance to the army or carrying a gun. The army agreed that Rotem Ronen would be assigned to the army’s home front command and would be permitted to wear civilian clothes while handing out gas masks, the daily Ha’aretz reported.
