The Israeli Embassy in Moscow said it is alarmed by the “dangerous trend” of growing Russian anti-Semitism. Issuing a statement after vandals went on a rampage in a synagogue in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk earlier this week, embassy officials said such incidents “pose a danger not only for Russian Jews, but for Russian society as a whole.”
