The Israeli human rights group B’Tselem says Israeli soldiers used a Palestinian teen-ager as a human shield during a West Bank attack that killed a Hamas leader. Nidal Daraghmeh, 19, was shot and killed when soldiers sent him to the house of Hamas leader Nasser Jerar on Wednesday, apparently to warn Jerar to surrender. Each side says the other’s gunfire killed the teen-ager.
