The Italian film star who won two Oscars earlier this year for his tragicomedy about the Holocaust will receive an honorary doctorate from an Israeli university next month. Roberto Benigni, who won Academy Awards for best actor and best foreign film for his “Life Is Beautiful,” will receive the honor from Ben-Gurion University in the Negev.
