The Jewish Agency for Israel received a threat linked to the fifth anniversary of a deadly bombing at the AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires. “Five years ago you survived, but this time it won’t end as well,” said a caller to the Jewish Agency’s headquarters in the Argentine capital. As a result of that call, and a threatening letter to the agency’s office in Novosibirsk, Russia, the agency is increasing security measures at several of its offices around the world.
