The Jewish Center here is conducting a week’s drive for $3,500 to “save the center” from closing down.
Maurice L. Jacobs is campaign chairman, assisted by Mrs. Blanche Goldowitz, second vice-president of the center and president of the Jewish Sisterhood; David Berman, past president, and Morris Panken. Ten teams of members are assisting in raising the funds.
