The Jewish Community Relations Council of Bergen County issued a statement declaring that it was “shocked and outraged by the callous and precipitous release of PLO terrorist Abu Daoud by a French court with French government approval.” The JCRC said that “the French government has exhibited a cynical disregard for international law and morality and made a mockery of France’s recent signing of the anti-terrorist tready adopted by the Council of Europe.”
