The Jewish National Fund and the city of Kiryat Shemona near the Lebanese border have launched a joint project of turning the “Snake Mountain” overlooking the city into a large park to serve the city’s residents. The JNF has completed during the last few days a network of roads to the park, and is working on paving paths for pedestrians. Groundwork is being completed for the planting of some 50,000 trees.
