The Jewish self-defense body of the neighboring colonies Ayelet and Kfar Gieleadi came to the rescue of the Jewish population at Safed, stopping the murder and pillage, while the authorities, it was reported, were passive.

Arrests among the Jewish self-defense bodies were renewed last night in Jerusalem.

The colony Anu-Shusha, which was abandoned at the order of the authorities, was burned last night.

Arab boy scouts are still employed in the official service of the military headquarters. The offer of the Jerusalem Jewish Communal Board to place at the disposal of the authorities the services of the Jewish scouts was declined.
