The Jewish teachers of the Palestine educational system gave up their siege of the offices of the Jewish Agency Executive yesterday after being assured of a satisfactory settlement of their demands tomorrow.
The teachers who have been picketing the offices of the Agency, demanding payment of salary arrears from May to August, were received by Emanuel Neumann of New York and Heschel Farbstein of Poland, members of the Jewish Agency Executive in charge of the treasury.
The pledge of a satisfactory settlement was given in behalf of the entire Executive.
