The Jewish Telegraphic Agency tried today to reach Dr. Gil Sinay, chairman of the Representative Committee of Chilean Jews in Santiago, to find out what was happening to Chilean Jews. It was informed by the overseas telephone operator that there were “no telephone connections with Chile.”
