That was the message delivered to Seattle Jewry this week by Oswald Garrison Villard, publisher of the Nation.
“This Jewish self-hate,” the champion of liberal causes said, is what makes me feel that the Jew in America is more in danger of being stabbed by his own brothers within the sanctity of his own house than he is of being farmed in the streets.”
