The Kennedy Center for New American Plays awarded grants to two plays with Jewish themes. “The Mad Dancers” is a contemporary retelling of a mystical Jewish tale. “See Under: Love” is based on the David Grossman novel about the child of a Holocaust survivor who discovers kindness in the world. They were among six plays awarded a total of $200,000.
