The Kosher Hams are planning a trip to Israel in November. Kosher Hams are the more than a thousand Jewish amateur radio operators from all parts of the world who daily communicate with each other over the 14320 khz short-wave radio frequency. The Jewish amateur radio enthusiasts have organized into a group called Chaverim. Because Israel’s call letters are 4X4, the Chaverim called their radio frequency the “4X4 NET.”
