The largest Jewish gathering ever seen here was held at Temple Sinai. Both Christians and Jews crowded into the Temple, with hundreds being turned away. The meeting was addressed by Rev. Dr. Walter J. Sherman, Walter McGowan, and Rabbi Rudolph I. Coffee.
