The leader of Egypt’s intelligence services called for a temporary halt to Palestinian terror attacks against Israel. Omar Suleiman, head of Egyptian military intelligence, relayed a message to Hamas and Islamic Jihad to stop attacks for three to six months in order to help the Labor Party in Israel’s upcoming elections, according to the Al-Hayat newspaper.
