The leader of Hezbollah said missing Israeli airman Ron Arad received treatment for wounds he received after being shot down over Lebanon in 1986. But Sheik Hassan Nasrallah added in an interview that Arad “disappeared” from his Hezbollah captors and “we do not know whether he is dead or alive.” Israel holds Iran responsible for Arad’s fate, but Tehran says it knows nothing of his whereabouts.
