The leader of Israel’s Islamic Movement was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail for funneling money to Hamas. Raed Salah was sentenced Wednesday in Haifa Magistrate’s Court. Four other leaders of the radical Islamist group were sentenced along with Salah to prison terms of between two-and-a-half to four-and-a-half years. However, under terms of a plea bargain and because of time already served, Salah will be released in six months.
