The leader of the Jewish community of Rio De Janeiro was granted the city’s highest honor. Rabbi Sergio Margulies, the spiritual leader of Rio de Janeiro’s 1,000-family Associacao Religiosa Israelita Congregation, received the Pedro Ernesto medal last Friday evening.
