The leader of Yugoslavia’s Jewish community said officials left over from the regime of jailed nationalist Slobodan Milosevic are to blame for a recent upsurge in anti-Semitism. Aca Singer cited the example of the state prosecutor refusing to seize the anti-Semitic tract “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” and prosecute those distributing it in Belgrade.
