The Louis Harris poll published this week finds that a majority of 71-6 percent of Americans disapprove of the Arab boycott of U.S. companies that do business with Israel. The poll also finds that a 44-27 percent majority favour legislation to impose tax penalties on American firms that comply with the boycott and 42-29 percent favour a tougher law to impose a fine or imprisonment on companies guilty of complying with the boycott.
