The man suspected of carrying out a racist shooting spree over the weekend in Illinois and Indiana was a “martyr for free speech,” said the leader of the white supremacist movement to which the suspect belonged. The attacks began Friday night, when he wounded six Orthodox Jews returning from Shabbat services in a Chicago suburb.
