The Mayor of Liege has banned the sale of former Nazi insignias, uniforms and moments in order to try and stem the rise of Nazi propaganda and resurgence. The municipal ruling banning such sales in the city was passed at the suggestion of the War Veterans Association which protested against the rise of Hitlerite nostalgia.
