The mayor of Moscow said he would file a lawsuit against the leader of Russia’s largest ultranationalist group for threatening him. Alexander Barkashov, leader of the ultranationalist Russian National Unity organization, said it was time “to have it out” with Yuri Luzhkov and “his Jewish gang” after Luzhkov banned a conference the group had planned to hold over the weekend. Luzhkov issued the ban on the grounds that it could threaten public order.
