The Middle East peace process is “in a little tough patch right now,” President Clinton said in an interview with CNN. But Clinton said he remains optimistic that Israel will reach agreements with Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinians. Peace is clearly in the interest of all parties and “we’re so close on the substance,” he said.
