The military authorities have released freelance journalist and poet Raymonda Tawil who was under house arrest in Ramallah for nearly three months. Tavil. a supporter of the Palestine Liberation Organization, was ordered confined to her home following anti-Israel demonstrations in Ramallah and other West Bank towns. Many Arab notables had asked for her release.
