Partition may well be the best solution of the Palestine problem, Sir Basil Brooks, Prime Minister of Ulster, (a part of partitioned ?land), said here today.
“In a country where differences of religion and races and economic alliances first, partition becomes the justifiable solution,” he said. Pointing to the Irish sample, he said that permanent partition had proved the only possible solution between two peoples of different loyalties. Asked whether partition would result in ?tter cooperation in the Holy Land, he replied, “I don’t know about more cooperation ? there certainly should be more peace.”
