The Ministerial Wages and Economic Committee decided Sunday to grant all State employes a 75 percent advance on their salaries if they agree not to go on strike for the next six months. Many are expected to oppose the no strike demand. But the teachers’ union has expressed satisfaction with the offer and, in fact, reversed a strike decision taken several days earlier.
