The mother of an Israeli soldier killed Tuesday blames the murder on Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. “The occupation killed my son,” said Malka Tzemach, an activist in the Women in Black group, which calls for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Lt. Tal Tzemach, 20, was killed and three soldiers wounded when two Palestinians opened fire on them while they slept at an army training area in the West Bank.
