The municipality of the old German town of Worms has placed an annual sum of $35,000 at the disposal of the Rashi House which was built in the Middle Ages. The grant, which has so far been approved for 1972 and 1973, may be augmented by further contributions by the West German Federal government. The restructured building will become the only Jewish museum in West Germany and serve also as a site for international conferences.
