The National Jewish Commission on Law and Public Affairs (COLPA) has announced the settlement of a charge of discrimination against one of the world’s largest shirt manufacturers for $1500. The settlement was negotiated by COLPA attorneys on behalf of a dismissed Sabbath observer. Neither the worker, an Orthodox Jew, nor the firm were identified.
