The national memorial service for soldiers whose place of burial is unknown took place Tuesday at the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery. The service included all the soldiers who were killed since World War II until the Yom Kippur War. Defense Minister Shimon Peres and Army Chief of Staff Mordechai Gur participated in the service along with other ministers and high-ranking army officers.
