The New Yorker magazine admitted in a statement that it dropped the attribution for a few quotes in this week’s profile on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The magazine said the attribution for quotes from a producer of a recent documentary on Israel’s jubilee was cut without the knowledge of writer David Remnick. The Jerusalem Post claims that the quotes were lifted directly from its pages.
