The news of the cancellation of the agreement between the Canadian Government and the Ica has been confirmed in a telegram received by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency from F. C. Blair, Acting Deputy Minister of Immigration of the Canadian Government. The Ica, Mr. Blair claims, fully understands the reasons for action of the government. The telegram reads as follows:
“Ottawa, Ontario, October 17, 1924. Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Ica Paris understands fully reasons for Canadian Government action. Better secure your information from them. (Signed) F. C. Blair, Acting Deputy Minister of Immigration.”
