The Norton Museum of Art will investigate the ownership history of 59 paintings that changed hands during Nazi control of Germany. The museum, in West Palm Beach, Fla., received a $50,000 grant from the Max and Iris Stern Museums Legacy Program to research the provenance of the paintings, Old Master works by lesser-known artists, The Palm Beach Post reported.
