The number of cancer cases in Haifa and its suburbs is 10 percent higher than Israel’s national average, according to research by the nation’s National Cancer Registry. The finding is part of a soon-to- be-released study that gives a geographic breakdown of cancer cases in Israel, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
