The official newspaper of the Roumanian War Ministry, “Universul”, reports protest meetings against the attempt to separate Bessarabia from Roumania, and to reunite it as an autonomous Moldava Republic with Soviet Russia. Ex-Minister Sassu declared that the Russian officials were endangering the Russian-Roumanian conference which is scheduled to take place in Vienna on March 24th, by their late actions.
