The ongoing revival of Jewish life in the former Soviet Union is the focus of a Jewish meeting in Kiev, Ukraine. More than 3,500 people are meeting for this week’s conference of the Forum of Jewish Communities of Ukraine. The forum was organized by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, which is the largest Jewish organization in the country, incorporating 160 communities and about 40 rabbis.
