The Orthodox Union voiced support Thursday for resolutions before the U.S. Congress authorizing possible military action against Iraq. Action taken by the United Nations would be “preferable,” the group said, but “should these efforts fail, the United States has every right and obligation under the United Nations Charter and international law to take firm and appropriate action.”
