“The Paper Bridge.” a new book by Chief Rabbi Dr. Moses Rosen, has just been published here. The 300-page volume is a collection of his essays and sermons, some with accompanying English translations. The title is based on an ancient Hebrew legend which relates that on the advent of the Messiah a paper bridge will be erected for the just to walk across to the eternal Zion. The main theme of the book is that the Torah and a just socialist society are not mutually exclusive, that both can coexist in harmony.
